In our 30s, the skin begins to reflect the complications of aging and adult life. The skin starts to show tiredness and dullness on the face during this period of life. The stresses of life and hormonal changes are at their peak and can devastate your skin’s glow. Dermatologists suggest that during the 30s, the skin’s auto-repair process slows down. Therefore, a lot of women might come across the issue of cystic acne, during their 30s.
Moreover, the blemishes and scars from your teenage years may make a reappearance, as the skin's renewal process decelerates, and its firmness diminishes. It's at this stage that establishing a robust skincare routine becomes crucial for maintaining skin health and radiance.
Skincare does not have to be as long as a 10-step routine. A few products will do the work. Today, I’ll be sharing some of the tips you can add to your daily life to make your skin look better during the 30s.

1. Sunscreen is a must
Forgetting your sunscreen is the biggest mistake you might be making for your skin. The harmful UV rays lead to such a great extent of damage to your skin that causes premature aging signs. You cannot and should not skip this step for the sake of your skin.
2. A little bit of makeup does no harm
If you have blemishes from your teenage pimples, a little bit of BB cream can be an addition to your daily routine to hide them. BB and CC creams can be applied to the face daily, as not everyone has the time to put on foundations. Also, regular use of foundation on bare skin can lead to clogging of pores, leading to breakouts.
3. Don’t forget your neck
When applying skincare products to your face, apply up to the neck. The skin around the neck is one of the most delicate areas and shows early signs of aging. Apply a decent amount of moisturizer over the neck and not just the leftover one from the face. Taking good care of the skin of the neck is equally important as taking care of the face. Otherwise, your face and skin would look different from each other.
4. Add serums to your regime
When you’re a 30-year-old, the skin starts to lose its elasticity and begins feeling more dehydrated and, therefore, duller. Serums deeply penetrate the layers of the skin and hydrate it from within. A serum is lightweight and can be gel-based or in liquid form. Serum should be applied first, before any moisturizers.
5. Yes, you need to apply eye cream
As the skin starts to lose its elasticity, more wrinkles will start appearing on your skin. Wrinkles are most visible in the under-eye area. With our expressions, our under-eye shows the most signs of aging. The under-eye does not have oil glands and is mostly dry, so it needs intense moisture. A good eye cream should be chosen and added to your before-bed routine.
6. Don’t underestimate the power of sleep
During the 20s, most of us become nocturnal and do not give enough time to our bodies to sleep. That beauty sleep is much needed for the repairing of not only the skin but the whole body. So get your soft silky pillow and sleep well, coz your skin needs it, honey!
In conclusion, entering your 30s marks a pivotal moment to adapt and enhance your skincare routine. These practical tips, ranging from sun protection to embracing a holistic approach to skincare, can empower you to preserve your skin's radiance and face the challenges of aging with confidence. Remember, investing in your skin is an investment in your well-being, and the results will be reflected in the vibrant glow you carry into the years ahead.
